What the calculator estimates
The tax relief calculator uses your annual income, the default personal relief, estimated EPF relief and selected common relief categories to estimate how much resident individual income tax may be reduced.
It is designed for planning. Your final claim should follow LHDN rules for the relevant assessment year and the documents you can keep as support.

How to use it before e-Filing
Use the salary calculator first so annual income and EPF relief are estimated. Then enter relief amounts you may be able to claim. The savings output compares estimated tax before and after those claims.
The priority list is useful because it shows which unused areas could still matter for your tax bill. If your income is below the taxable range, the calculator may show little or no tax saving even when relief room exists.
